The Hobbyist is the Villa Heights coffee and bottle shop on North Davidson Street that runs from morning pour-overs through to evening craft cocktails. There is bar and table seating, a patio and free parking, which is rare on that corridor. Beer, wine, live music and events fill the nights. It is a genuine bar as well as a coffee shop, and the rules reflect that.
What to know
- Laptops are welcome on weekdays but not at the bar on weekends.
- Free parking is available on site.
- Live music runs on selected evenings.
- The bottle shop lets you take something home.
