Flip-a-Lo’s is the locally owned wing, strip and stick shop in Carmel Commons Shopping Center on Pineville-Matthews Road in south Charlotte. It was previously named Flip’n Chicken. The operation is counter service, family friendly and focused on doing one thing well. Wing opinions in this part of town run strong, and this place has both loyalists and detractors, which is the mark of a real neighborhood shop.
