Painted Rooster is the chicken restaurant on Central Avenue in Plaza Midwood, in the former Zada Jane’s space. The menu covers wings, tenders, nuggets, fried and grilled chicken sandwiches and a cauliflower wing for vegetarians. Everything is built around a mix and match system of dry rubs, sauces and dips, so you build the flavor yourself.
