Every builder here has a public rating of 4.8 or higher with no pattern of quality or conduct complaints, and where subcontractors have reviewed a builder we gave that weight. Two heavily marketed builders were left off for that reason. Check the license with the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors, ask for three recent client references, and read the warranty before signing.
