About
Charlotte Country Day School is the oldest independent school in Charlotte, founded in 1941. It serves junior kindergarten through 12th grade across its Cannon campus on Carmel Road and the Bissell campus for middle school. The International Baccalaureate diploma is offered alongside a traditional college preparatory track. Admission is selective, and a broad athletics program runs across the divisions. It holds the deepest institutional history of any school in the city.
