Skybrook Golf Club is the semi private course on Northgreen Drive in Huntersville, widely called the best course on the north side, with a new driving range and chipping area, a bar and grill, a pro shop and a maintenance team that keeps the greens playable into winter.
Tee times are easy to reserve, the staff are quick and friendly, and mornings before noon are the best conditions. Carts, rental clubs and a putting green make it workable for a visiting golfer or a father and son round. Open daily. Members and the public share the tee sheet, so weekday mornings are the quiet window, and the greens hold their speed later into the season than most courses in the region. The Northgreen Drive entrance is easy to miss coming from I-77, so allow a few extra minutes on a first visit.
