Que Onda

Que Onda is the Plaza Midwood restaurant on Central Avenue, run by owners Mandy and Alex. It sits in a restored older building with two floors, a downstairs bar and restrooms on both levels. There is a parking lot, which is rare on that stretch of Central. Portions are large enough that a chip and dip special plus two entrees will feed three people. The same owners run Que Fresa over in Wesley Heights, so the two menus share some DNA.

What to know

• Sunday brings $5 beers and half price dips.
