The Duke Mansion is the historic house and inn on Hermitage Road in Myers Park, with gardens, a dining room and twenty guest rooms, so a wedding party can stay the night where the wedding happens. Photographers name it first when people ask where to get married in Charlotte.
The grounds and the interior both photograph well, which is not true of every historic house. Dinner service is strong and the kitchen has a long record with large groups.
