Luxe Event Venue is the large event space on John Adams Road in University City, with chandeliers, a blank canvas interior that takes heavy decor or very little, and enough parking for a full guest list.

It works for weddings, receptions and big parties, and the owner has been flexible on payment arrangements for couples who overspent elsewhere. One group has reported arriving to find the space unusable from a previous event, with a promised partial refund later withdrawn, so get any cleaning and turnover commitments in writing and confirm the day before.
