Southern Pecan – Gulf Coast Kitchen

Southern Pecan is the Gulf Coast kitchen at Phillips Place in SouthPark, with a patio set back from the road among the shops. Shrimp and grits, blackened redfish, pecan fried catfish and an oyster po’ boy anchor the menu, and the roasted poblano pimento cheese is the starter regulars order without looking. It works for a long lunch as easily as dinner, and the pecan pie and key lime pie are both worth ordering to finish.
