About
Independent Picture House is Charlotte’s nonprofit art house cinema, in a converted building on Raleigh Street in the Hidden Valley area north of NoDa. It shows independent, foreign and documentary films that the multiplex chains do not carry, alongside repertory screenings and themed series. As a nonprofit it runs on memberships and donations, and it is the home venue of the Charlotte Film Festival each September.
