Park Road Books is the locally owned bookstore in Park Road Shopping Center, and the shop is the one most Charlotte readers name first. The shop is small enough to browse properly in an hour, with a strong selection of new fiction and nonfiction and a table of local authors you will not find in a chain. There is an extensive children’s corner, and the owner is often on the floor talking with customers.
