The 8 best chiropractors in Charlotte

Chiropractic care is a field where the same word covers very different practices. Some treat acute injury after a car accident. Some run long term maintenance. Some specialize in pregnancy. This list says which is which, because sending a pregnant patient to an accident clinic is not helpful to anyone. Every practice here holds a public rating of 4.8 or better, and one well reviewed practice was left off for a reason we explain at the end. Ask about costs and insurance before the first visit, because it varies widely.

1. Charlotte Chiropractic Center

A perfect rating across more than 600 reviews on East Morehead, the strongest clean record in the city. How we chose, and what we left out

We ranked on the depth and consistency of the review record and on whether patients describe understanding their own treatment. One practice with a strong rating was left off after a patient who went in for preventative care with no pain described being told they had a condition they later learned they did not have, and a process built on fear instead of education. That is a single account and the practice may dispute it, but it is the kind of report we take seriously in health care.

Chiropractic care is not a substitute for medical diagnosis. For new pain after an injury, see a doctor first. Ask any practice about costs, insurance and how many visits they expect before you start. If your chiropractor deserves a place here, tell us.
