Lowe’s Home Improvement – Matthews

Lowe’s Home Improvement’s Matthews store sits on Matthews Township Parkway near the Matthews Township shopping district, one of the Mooresville-based chain’s stores serving south Mecklenburg and northern Union County. It carries lumber, tools, paint, appliances, plumbing and electrical supplies, and a garden center, with curbside pickup and same-day delivery.

In September 2026 the store became the first home improvement location in the country to offer drone delivery, flying orders of up to about 2.5 pounds through the DoorDash app with Wing to eligible addresses within a few miles, in as little as 20 minutes. The store also houses one of Wing’s Charlotte-area launch sites, which serves other DoorDash merchants nearby.
