Open Rice is a Hong Kong-style Chinese restaurant in the Metropolitan development in Midtown. The owners opened their first location in south Charlotte in 2019 before adding Metropolitan in 2023.
The menu centers on Cantonese and Hong Kong cafe dishes such as roast duck, char siu, beef chow fun and clay pot brisket. Bubble waffles with ice cream and boba tea are popular desserts and drinks.
