The Salty Donut is a Miami-founded craft doughnut shop on South Tryon Street in South End. The South End shop opened in January 2023 as the company’s first in North Carolina.
The shop sells large brioche doughnuts in classic and rotating flavors, including brown butter and salt, along with coffee drinks. Charlotte also has Salty Donut shops in Ballantyne and Plaza Midwood.
