The 13th Acre

The 13th Acre is a seasonal haunted attraction on Plyler Mill Road in Monroe, in Union County east of Charlotte. The walk comes in two parts, Coffin Creek and then The Forbidden Acre, through wooded ground.
A Monster Midway outside the trail has a live DJ, fire pits, food, drinks and a horror selfie museum, and VIP guests get the private Oddities Bar with a two-way scare window. The Scare Factor included The 13th Acre in a 2026 list of 10 must-see North Carolina haunts.
