Amos’ Southend is a two-story concert venue on South Tryon Street in South End, about 100 yards from the Bland Street light rail station. The venue dates the business to 1990, and The Charlotte Ledger reports that the room holds 600 to 700 people.
The calendar books touring rock, punk, hard rock, indie and country acts, and the tiered mezzanine sells seats as an upgrade over the standing floor. Past performers named by the venue include John Legend, John Mayer, Chris Stapleton and the Beastie Boys.
