Davidson Farmers Market
About
Davidson Farmers Market is a nonprofit farmers market on South Main Street in downtown Davidson. The market opened in 2008 with 12 vendors after a volunteer committee began planning in 2007, and nearly 50 vendors sell there now, according to the market.
Every vendor must grow, raise, bake or create what they sell within 100 miles. Shoppers find milk from grass-fed Jersey cows, lamb and lamb charcuterie, honey, cut flowers and seasonal produce, and SNAP purchases are matched up to $20. The market published a first community cookbook in 2025.
