Uptown Farmers Market

About

Uptown Farmers Market is a nonprofit farmers market that sets up in a church parking lot on South Davidson Street in Uptown Charlotte. The market was founded in spring 2020 in response to studies in Mecklenburg County on food insecurity, wellness and nutrition, according to the market.

The 58 listed vendors include eight produce farms and five meat, poultry and fish vendors, along with bakers and artisan food makers. SNAP shoppers can get matching dollars through Market Double Bucks, and the Radish Roots program gives kids tokens to spend on fruits and vegetables.
