Steven’s Country Store & Butcher Shop

Steven’s Country Store & Butcher Shop is a country store and meat counter on Mooresville Road, in the Rowan County part of the Mooresville area. The Clodfelter family took over the store on April 30, 2020, according to the business, and meat has been cut on the property since the 1960s, Lake Norman Publications reported in 2025.

Hand-cut custom meats are the draw, along with locally made sausage and livermush. The store also serves country breakfast and lunch and sells local honey, Amish jellies, cheese and seasonal vegetables.
