YAFO Kitchen is a fast-casual Middle Eastern street food restaurant from Frank Scibelli’s restaurant group, with locations in Plaza Midwood, Dilworth, SouthPark and Ballantyne. The first YAFO opened in 2016, according to the restaurant.
Israeli-born chef Shai Fargian leads the kitchens, and the menu is built on organic chickpea hummus, shawarma-spiced rotisserie chicken, house-pickled vegetables and hot mezze, with vegetarian and vegan options. Charlotte Agenda named YAFO to a 2019 list of the city’s best Greek restaurants.
