Abugida Ethiopian Cafe & Restaurant is a family-run Ethiopian restaurant on Central Avenue in Plaza Midwood, run by mother and daughter Shito Negussie and Yodite Tesafye. Charlotte Agenda reviewed the restaurant as a newcomer in 2017.
The menu covers wets, tibs and vegetable dishes on injera, from doro wet with a boiled egg to the Abugida Feast and a vegetarian sampler, with gluten-free injera available. The restaurant also serves weekend brunch, fresh Ethiopian coffee and Ethiopian beer and wine, with patio seating.
