About
Al-Basha Halal Grill is a halal Mediterranean restaurant on Abbey Place in Montford Park. The restaurant first opened in Charlotte in 2014 and returned in 2025 after a 2023 fire, with co-owner Ahmed Karam.
The menu runs from shawarma and falafel wraps to a six-hour Yemeni-style lamb shank, mixed grill plates and a 12-skewer family grill, plus coffees and smoothies and a late-night menu.
