ANJU is the modern Korean restaurant in a shopping center on East Woodlawn Road near SouthPark, and the restaurant works for a date night as well as a group dinner. The cooking is lighter on sugar than a lot of Korean American food, which diners who grew up eating the real thing notice straight away. Dumplings, kimchi fries, fried chicken, pork belly and rice cakes are the plates to share, and the servers steer first timers well.
