About
Bisonte Pizza Co. was founded by two brothers from Buffalo, and it makes the most authentic Buffalo wings in Charlotte along with New York and Buffalo style pizza from family recipes. The Uptown location is on West Trade Street, with others in Matthews and at Providence Crossing in Ballantyne.
Buffalo in mild, medium, hot or inferno is the point, but the sauce list runs to bourbon barbecue, peach honey, Carolina gold, teriyaki and lemon pepper, and it is one of the only places in the city serving a chicken finger sub tossed in buffalo sauce with homemade blue cheese. The wings arrive steaming.
