Bossy Beaut’s Chicken Shack is a fried chicken restaurant from Charlotte restaurateur Jim Noble, with shacks on Park Road, on Freedom Drive, in Ballantyne, on Derita Road, in Fort Mill and in Winston-Salem. The first shack opened on Freedom Drive in November 2019 as Bossy Beulah’s Chicken Shack, WSOC reported.
The chicken is all-natural, never frozen, brined overnight in buttermilk, breaded by hand and fried to order, according to the restaurant. The Beaut, a fried chicken breast sandwich with mayo and house pickles on a potato bun, was included in Axios Charlotte’s 2021 roundup of the city’s best chicken sandwiches, and the menu also has a hot thigh sandwich, tenders and wings.
