Brooks’ Sandwich House is the cash only burger shack on North Brevard Street in NoDa that has been a Charlotte staple for decades. The restaurant reopened in January 2020 after co-owner Scott Brooks was killed in a shooting, closed again during the pandemic, and came back. The line has not shortened since. There is no dining room, just a walk up window, a standing counter and your car.

The burger All The Way comes with mustard, onions, slaw and chili.
The restaurant is cash only, so plan ahead.

His twin sons kept it exactly as it was through NoDa's transformation, through the light rail, and through the morning one of them did not come home. The land has been for sale since 2023.
