Carmel Christian School is the kindergarten through 12th grade Christian school on Pineville-Matthews Road in Matthews, a ministry of Carmel Baptist Church. It runs a college preparatory curriculum on a growing campus, and its athletics have risen to the top of the state’s Christian school leagues in recent years. It draws families from south Charlotte, Matthews and Union County. Admission runs in the fall with rolling openings as space allows.
