D.D. Peckers Wing Shack

D.D. Peckers Wing Shack on Park Road near Pineville is the wing spot Charlotte names first, open since 2002 and run by owner Justin Holland since 2004 with a core staff that has been there more than a decade. It is a dark, bar style room and it does not pretend to be anything else.

More than 25 sauces, every one made in house, and if you look into the kitchen you can watch the cooks toss wings in big steel bowls. Hot and honey hot are the flavors to start with, the wings are not skimpy, and there are jalapeño poppers, mushrooms, tenders and burgers for the rest of the table. A national travel site ranked it among the 50 best wing spots in the country.
