Deepwell

Deepwell is a New Orleans-influenced steakhouse on Main Street in downtown Mooresville from Joe and Katy Kindred, the owners of Kindred in Davidson, developed with chef and co-owner Craig Deihl. The restaurant is in the former J.J. Wasabi’s space, in a building that dates to the late 1800s.

The menu centers on spit-fired steaks and wagyu from W8 Ranch in Ennice, North Carolina. Pre-opening plans called for a roughly 4,000-square-foot restaurant with a 1,500-square-foot covered patio and an indoor-outdoor bar serving Mooresville’s social district.
