Digital Realty operates a colocation and interconnection campus in First Ward, Uptown, between Trade and Fifth streets. The original purpose-built facility at 113 North Myers Street covers about 29,200 square feet with 2.5 megawatts of utility power, and the campus includes 125 North Myers Street and 731 East Trade Street. The company is adding a fourth building at 725 East Trade Street, a roughly 200,000-square-foot, 12-megawatt data center on the site of the former Court Arcade building it bought in 2025.

What to know

• The campus sits on the city’s hospital power grid and offers connections to more than 15 network providers, according to the company.
• Digital Realty is also planning a separate large campus off Moores Chapel Road in west Charlotte.
• Its approved Charlotte projects are exempt from the city’s 2026 data center moratorium under state law.
