Dover Vineyards
About
Dover Vineyards is a winery and farm on Concord Parkway South, also known as U.S. 29, in Concord. Elizabeth Ann Dover planted the first vines on the old family farm in 2009, WFAE reported.
In 2016, WFAE reported that Dover had settled on Chambourcin for red wine and Villard Blanc for white, and the winery says every wine is made from local grapes. Tastings range from a three-wine rosé tasting to a seven-wine Traditional menu, and the farm also sells produce and goods from other local farms. Dover is a stop on Cabarrus County’s Explore and Pour craft beverage trail.
