Dr. Charles L. Sifford Golf Course
About
The Dr. Charles L. Sifford Golf Course at Revolution Park is Charlotte’s municipal nine hole course on Remount Road. The course is named for the Charlotte born golfer who broke the PGA Tour’s color barrier. This is the best place in the city to learn the game or play a quick round after work. The layout is forgiving for beginners, and the practice areas are expansive by any standard. Staff here have built a culture that beginners notice immediately, and the whole place feels welcoming instead of intimidating. The course is open daily until the evening.
