Elizabeth Creamery is the tiny neighborhood scoop shop on Elizabeth Avenue, steps from the Gold Line streetcar. It is not much bigger than its own counter, and it has been a Charlotte classic for more than a decade. Classic flavors are done well, with a few oddballs alongside them. It suits a stroll down Elizabeth Avenue after dinner at one of the restaurants nearby, and the whole visit takes about ten minutes.
