Emmy Squared is the Detroit style pizza restaurant known for square pies with crispy bottoms and caramelized cheese edges, plus a lineup of signature burgers. The Plaza Midwood location on Central Avenue was the first in Charlotte, with a second in South End on Hawkins Street. It is the only serious version of that style in the city.
