About

Enat Ethiopian Restaurant is a family-owned Ethiopian restaurant on The Plaza in east Charlotte, with a fast-casual counter at Optimist Hall. Owner Tina Tedla named the restaurant Enat, Amharic for mother, after her own mother, according to the restaurant and Charlotte Stories, and the restaurant opened in Charlotte in 2017.

The Plaza flagship has the full menu, with tibs served classic, spicy awaze or crispy derek style, meat platters and a vegan platter of eight vegetable dishes on injera. Both regular and gluten-free teff injera are available.
