Frazier Park

Frazier Park is the Third Ward park on West 4th Street Extension, with skyline views from the paved track that loops the fields. There is a dog park for large and small dogs, a community garden, tennis and basketball courts, a playground and open fields. It connects to the Irwin Creek and Stewart Creek greenways, which makes it a hub as much as a destination. The garden plot and the dog run give it a neighborhood feel that the Uptown parks do not have.

What to know

• You can walk from here to Wesley Heights, Third Ward or the stadium.
• The park is open around the clock.
• Youth sports use the fields most weekends.
• It feels safe by day and is better walked with company after dark.
