Gastonia Farmers Market
About
Gastonia Farmers Market is a farmers market on East Long Avenue in downtown Gastonia, run by a nonprofit farmers market association under an agreement with the City of Gastonia. The market began informally in the 1970s, according to the city.
The market building was dedicated in May 1995 and is named for Dougie Henry, a lifelong Gaston County resident and market supporter. Growers and craft vendors sell there, and EBT and Double Bucks tokens can be used for eligible food and plant purchases.
