Golden Cow Creamery is the locally owned ice cream shop with locations in South End on West Summit Avenue, in Uptown and in SouthPark. Small batch flavors lean playful, covering salted Oreo, Nutella KitKat and chocolate Dunkaroos alongside a proper vanilla and strawberry. Owners Liz and Alex Hannah are Charlotte natives. The Uptown shop sits a short walk from the museums and the arena, which makes it the easiest stop for visitors, while South End is the neighborhood one.
