Guard and Grace

Guard and Grace is a modern steakhouse on the tenth floor of The Vivian in South End, with the entrance and valet on the South Tryon Street side. Chef Troy Guard and his wife, co-owner and beverage director Nikki Guard, opened the Charlotte restaurant on October 1, 2026, following locations in Denver and Houston.

The menu centers on prime steaks in 4- and 8-ounce portions, oak-grilled seafood and craft cocktails, backed by a 750-bottle wine room. The 10,224-square-foot space has private dining rooms and a 2,000-square-foot outdoor terrace with skyline views, and valet parking is complimentary.
