Heron House Mahjong

Heron House Mahjong is a mahjong studio and boutique in a 1925 house on East Boulevard in Dilworth, near Freedom Park. Co-founder Charolette Obringer and a small team of partners and instructors opened the studio in June 2026.

Players reserve tables in rooms named for herons and egrets, drop in for open play, or sign up for lessons that cover how the game works and where it came from. The boutique sells tile sets, mats and racks, including handmade wooden racks, and wine and snacks are available during play. Private events and memberships round out the offerings.
