L’Ostrica is the handmade pasta restaurant and market on Park Road in Montford from Cat Carter and chef Eric Ferguson, and it is built on one idea the owners have held since day one: fine dining should invite people in, not keep them out.
That shows in how flexible the place is. There is a six course chef’s tasting for the full experience, an a la carte menu for the nights you just want a bowl of pasta and a glass of Barbaresco, and a market up front where you can buy the pasta and take it home. Menus change every few months with the season.
