Luxe Event Venue

Luxe Event Venue is the large event space on John Adams Road in University City. Chandeliers hang over a blank canvas interior that takes heavy decor or almost none, depending on what you want. Parking handles a full guest list without overflow. The venue works for weddings, receptions and big parties, and the venue is priced below the catered venues because catering is not included. The owner has been flexible on payment arrangements for couples who overspent elsewhere in their planning. Tour it before you sign so you know what the room looks like empty.

What to know

• One group arrived to find the space unusable after a previous event.
• A promised partial refund in that case was later withdrawn.
• Get cleaning and turnover commitments in writing before you sign.
• Confirm the room condition the day before your event.
