McGill Rose Garden

McGill Rose Garden is the small public garden on North Davidson Street near Uptown. Roses, brick paths, a coffee shop and restrooms make it a pleasant place to spend an hour even when nothing is booked. Photographers use it constantly for engagement sessions and intimate weddings. The venue is by far the cheapest option on our venue list and also the smallest, which makes it right for an elopement or a ceremony of a few dozen people. Nothing is included, so you bring every vendor yourself.

What to know

• Parking is limited and tricky to find the first time.
• Dogs are welcome on the paths.
• The garden is free to walk through when no event is booked.
• There is no event staff, so plan on managing setup yourself.
