Merchant & Trade is the 19th floor rooftop bar atop the Kimpton Tryon Park Hotel on South Church Street. It looks straight down into Truist Field and out across the Uptown skyline. There is couch seating indoors and out, plus fire pits for cool evenings. The cocktail list includes an espresso martini regulars rank first in the city. Golden hour over the ballpark is the reason to come, and the terrace stays usable well into the cooler months. The food menu goes further than most hotel roofs bother with.
