Moon Thai & Japanese is the SouthPark restaurant on Sharon Road. The dining room is decorated after Thai temples, and the menu covers both the Thai and Japanese kitchens properly instead of treating one as an afterthought. Diners who have eaten in Thailand single it out as one of the few Charlotte restaurants that tastes like the real thing. It opens for dinner seven nights and stays open later than most of its SouthPark neighbors. The sushi chef works a specialty roll list alongside the Thai kitchen.
