Original Chicken & Ribs is a takeout restaurant on Beatties Ford Road in the Historic West End, across from Washington Heights. The restaurant was listed in the Green Book from 1963 to 1967, and the Blackmon family has owned the business since at least 1969.
Everything is cooked to order and sold for carryout. The menu has fried chicken, ribs, fish such as croaker and flounder, whole wings served without sauce and the Fat Boy burger with two patties, slaw and chili.
