Pinky’s Westside Grill is the no frills roadside restaurant on West Morehead Street that got national attention from a 2015 episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, and it has stayed exactly what it was: a burger and sandwich shop with an oddball menu, a crab hushpuppy appetizer and a penny press by the door. A second location is in Huntersville.
The Pterodactyl Burger, an award winning five ounce patty, comes everything style, Westside style with chili and slaw, or Ding Dong style with peanut butter, honey cilantro slaw and sriracha. The Triple G is three patties Westside style, which is what Guy Fieri ordered.
