PoppyCox Nashville Hot Chicken is a Nashville hot chicken stall inside Optimist Hall on North Brevard Street in Optimist Park. Owner Michael Kocak started PoppyCox as a pop-up in 2022 and then ran a food truck, WhatNow Charlotte reported, before the business moved into the food hall in fall 2025.
The menu has a boneless breast sandwich with comeback sauce, slaw and pickles, jumbo tenders, leg quarters and fries loaded with chopped chicken, with the chicken cooked to a range of spice levels.
